SPYWARE, ADWARE, MALWARE & VIRUSES LISTING, kill 'em all!

go to your C:\\WINDOWS>system32\
and check if this files are in the directory. if so, that means your PC is in big trouble. Lavasoft adaware cant detect some spywares such as .qn, and .virtumonde. try avg anti-spywares or mcafee.
winhab32.dll > trojan.dialer.qn

Vundo Trojan - Specifics and Removal
Introduction - About Spyware

Unfortunately a large majority of computers are infected by various spyware programs today. Spyware is a general term that is frequently used to describe a large group of malicious software applications that includes adware, spyware, trojans, hijackers, keyloggers, dialers and worms. Modern malicious software applications apply numerous and often highly sophisticated tactics to hide and spread. Their tactics range from randomly-named files, mutation, and system file impersonation. Let's review the most widely spread malicious groups: Adware and Trojans.

Adware programs are software applications (not always malicious) that display advertisements on the infected computer. Advertisements can be displayed through pop-up and pop-under windows, additional bars or toolbars, underlined links or buttons that appear on a computer screen. Adware applications include additional code that delivers the ads. Adware authors earn money when users click on those ads. Occasionally, adware includes code that tracks user's site visits and passes it to third parties without the user's permission or knowledge.

Trojans are programs that install secretly, quite often with sinister intent. Once installed, the trojan author (hacker) can gain complete control over the infected computer. Trojans can be distributed by unsolicited email attachments, or bundled with freeware and shareware programs. Trojans are also often bundled with computer cracks.Vundo Specifics

Vundo (also known as VirtuMonde and VirtuMundo) is a malicious software application that combines both adware and trojan characteristics. Vundo is wide spread today and is probably one of the hardest programs to get rid of. Once installed, Vundo downloads and displays pop-up advertisements that often promote questionable computer-enhancement programs or fake anti-virus or anti-spyware utilities. Lately, Vundo has been advertising several rogue programs called WinFixer2005, WinAntiVirus Pro 2006, WinAntiSpyware and RazeSpyware.

Vundo typically displays messages warning the user that their PC is infected and needs immediate attention. The messages can mimic system messages (seem as if they are generated by Windows Operating System) and they refer the user to download one of its affiliated dubious programs. Sample message below:

"If your computer has errors in the registry database or file system, it could cause unpredictable or erratic behavior, freezes and crashes. Fixing these errors can increase your computer's performance and prevent data loss. Would you like to install WinFixer 2005 to check your computer for free?"

Once installed, the program (Winfixer, WinAntiVirus, WinAntiSyware or RazeSpyware) pretends to find numerous errors and will coerce the user into paying money to fix these alleged errors.

Sample WinFixer2005 pop-up message:
It is noticed that Vundo Trojan uses the following domains and promotes software and services that belong to these domains:
* reliablestats.com;
* winantispyware.com;
* winantivirus.com;
* winantiviruspro.com;
* winfixer.com;
* winnanny.com;
* winsoftware.com.
NOTE: Please do not visit these websites because Vundo Trojan may silently install without your permission or knowledge.

Your PC may become infected with Vundo Trojan if:
* you visit affected website;
* you open a spammed e-mail message;
* you use affected peer-to-peer network;
* you run an affected trojan application;
* you install a software crack.

If you take a look at the report generated by the HijackThis anti-hijack tool, you may see entries similar to the following:
* O2 - BHO: MSEvents O(mobiusgames rocks!)ect - {B313D637-F405-4052-AC37-E2119AB3C8F8} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\{RANDOM_DLL_NAME}.dll
* O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FC148228-87E1-4D00-AC06-58DCAA52A4D1} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\{RANDOM_DLL_NAME}.dll
* O20 - Winlogon Notify: - C:\WINDOWS\system32\{RANDOM_DLL_NAME}.dll
* O20 - Winlogon Notify: - C:\WINDOWS\system32\{RANDOM_DLL_NAME}.dll

These entries mean that the computer is affected by Vundo Trojan. {RANDOM_DLL_NAME} for example could be: "ddcya.dll", "jkkji.dll".

Please note that Vundo cannot be removed with HijackThis tool.

Vundo is able to download silently and install additional harmful files and adware components. It may noticeably decrease the amount of system virtual memory which slows down computer performance.

Vundo Trojan modifies Windows registry database which enables it to run on every Windows startup. It creates executable files with randomly generated names in the Windows or WINNT folders or subfolders. Vundo Trojan very effectively hides from the user and from spyware / virus detection software programs. Manual removal of Vundo Trojan is almost impossible for the overwhelming majority of PC users; only highly experienced professionals stand a chance.

WINDOWS TIPS, TRICKS & TWEAKS

Now it's time to delve a bit deeper and uncover some of Windows XP's secrets.

1. It boasts how long it can stay up. Whereas previous versions of Windows were coy about how long they went between boots, XP is positively proud of its stamina. Go to the Command Prompt in the Accessories menu from the All Programs start button option, and then type 'systeminfo'. The computer will produce a lot of useful info, including the uptime. If you want to keep these, type 'systeminfo > info.txt'. This creates a file called info.txt you can look at later with Notepad. (Professional Edition only).
2. You can delete files immediately, without having them move to the Recycle Bin first. Go to the Start menu, select Run... and type 'gpedit.msc'; then select User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, Windows Explorer and find the Do not move deleted files to the Recycle Bin setting. Set it. Poking around in gpedit will reveal a great many interface and system options, but take care -- some may stop your computer behaving as you wish. (Professional Edition only).
3. You can lock your XP workstation with two clicks of the mouse. Create a new shortcut on your desktop using a right mouse click, and enter 'rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation' in the location field. Give the shortcut a name you like. That's it -- just double click on it and your computer will be locked. And if that's not easy enough, Windows key + L will do the same.
4. XP hides some system software you might want to remove, such as Windows Messenger, but you can tickle it and make it disgorge everything. Using Notepad or Edit, edit the text file /windows/inf/sysoc.inf, search for the word 'hide' and remove it. You can then go to the Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, select Add/Remove Windows Components and there will be your prey, exposed and vulnerable.
5. For those skilled in the art of DOS batch files, XP has a number of interesting new commands. These include 'eventcreate' and 'eventtriggers' for creating and watching system events, 'typeperf' for monitoring performance of various subsystems, and 'schtasks' for handling scheduled tasks. As usual, typing the command name followed by /? will give a list of options -- they're all far too baroque to go into here.
6. XP has IP version 6 support -- the next generation of IP. Unfortunately this is more than your ISP has, so you can only experiment with this on your LAN. Type 'ipv6 install' into Run... (it's OK, it won't ruin your existing network setup) and then 'ipv6 /?' at the command line to find out more. If you don't know what IPv6 is, don't worry and don't bother.
7. You can at last get rid of tasks on the computer from the command line by using 'taskkill /pid' and the task number, or just 'tskill' and the process number. Find that out by typing 'tasklist', which will also tell you a lot about what's going on in your system.
8. XP will treat Zip files like folders, which is nice if you've got a fast machine. On slower machines, you can make XP leave zip files well alone by typing 'regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll' at the command line. If you change your mind later, you can put things back as they were by typing 'regsvr32 zipfldr.dll'.
9. XP has ClearType -- Microsoft's anti-aliasing font display technology -- but doesn't have it enabled by default. It's well worth trying, especially if you were there for DOS and all those years of staring at a screen have given you the eyes of an astigmatic bat. To enable ClearType, right click on the desktop, select Properties, Appearance, Effects, select ClearType from the second drop-down menu and enable the selection. Expect best results on laptop displays. If you want to use ClearType on the Welcome login screen as well, set the registry entry HKEY_USERS/.DEFAULT/Control Panel/Desktop/FontSmoothingType to 2.
10. You can use Remote Assistance to help a friend who's using network address translation (NAT) on a home network, but not automatically. Get your pal to email you a Remote Assistance invitation and edit the file. Under the RCTICKET attribute will be a NAT IP address, like 192.168.1.10. Replace this with your chum's real IP address -- they can find this out by going to www.whatismyip.com -- and get them to make sure that they've got port 3389 open on their firewall and forwarded to the errant computer.
11. You can run a program as a different user without logging out and back in again. Right click the icon, select Run As... and enter the user name and password you want to use. This only applies for that run. The trick is particularly useful if you need to have administrative permissions to install a program, which many require. Note that you can have some fun by running programs multiple times on the same system as different users, but this can have unforeseen effects.
12. Windows XP can be very insistent about you checking for auto updates, registering a Passport, using Windows Messenger and so on. After a while, the nagging goes away, but if you feel you might slip the bonds of sanity before that point, run Regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/Advanced and create a DWORD value called EnableBalloonTips with a value of 0.
13. You can start up without needing to enter a user name or password. Select Run... from the start menu and type 'control userpasswords2', which will open the user accounts application. On the Users tab, clear the box for Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To Use This Computer, and click on OK. An Automatically Log On dialog box will appear; enter the user name and password for the account you want to use.
14. Internet Explorer 6 will automatically delete temporary files, but only if you tell it to. Start the browser, select Tools / Internet Options... and Advanced, go down to the Security area and check the box to Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed.
15. XP comes with a free Network Activity Light, just in case you can't see the LEDs twinkle on your network card. Right click on My Network Places on the desktop, then select Properties. Right click on the description for your LAN or dial-up connection, select Properties, then check the Show icon in notification area when connected box. You'll now see a tiny network icon on the right of your task bar that glimmers nicely during network traffic.
16. The Start Menu can be leisurely when it decides to appear, but you can speed things along by changing the registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop/MenuShowDelay from the default 400 to something a little snappier. Like 0.
17. You can rename loads of files at once in Windows Explorer. Highlight a set of files in a window, then right click on one and rename it. All the other files will be renamed to that name, with individual numbers in brackets to distinguish them. Also, in a folder you can arrange icons in alphabetised groups by View, Arrange Icon By... Show In Groups.
18. Windows Media Player will display the cover art for albums as it plays the tracks -- if it found the picture on the Internet when you copied the tracks from the CD. If it didn't, or if you have lots of pre-WMP music files, you can put your own copy of the cover art in the same directory as the tracks. Just call it folder.jpg and Windows Media Player will pick it up and display it.
19. Windows key + Break brings up the System Properties dialogue box; Windows key + D brings up the desktop; Windows key + Tab moves through the taskbar buttons.

AFFAIR SURVIVING

The horrible gut wrenching feeling knowing your husband is having an affair can be a poison that will infect all parts of your life. The questions you ask yourself and the self doubt wear you down night after night. "Do I throw him out?", "can I ignore it and time will heal?", "did I fail him?", "can I save my marriage?". All these things and more run through your mind, making you angry, sad, scared and depressed. It does not ave to be this way however! Affair surviving is possible and can be done by you if you do a few things right like these tips on surviving an affair.

1. Know the affair is not your fault.
While it can feel that you may have done somethign wrong that has driven him into the arms of another woman this is never true! While both of you may have made mistakes, (and who honestly hasn't!) the truth of the matter is that he made the choice to have an affair! This means he is the one who is at fault no matter the circumstances!
Your husband has made a decision based on a selfish desire to run away from a problem instead of solving it. The affair is a temporary indulgence in an emotional and physical neediness. The truth is that affairs are temporary things and hardly ever amount to anythign solid between the two having an affair.

2. You must find out just what type of affair is going on.
Affairs happen for different reasons just as people lead different lives and want different things. Here are some of the main excuses men use to justify thier affair.
My marriage made me do this!
I just can't say no!
I just don't want to say no!
I am not in love any more!
I did it to get revenge on my spouse!
I needed to prove to myself i am still attractive!
I just wanted to be close to someone!
each of these excuses need different ways of being dealth with. Some are more to do with his ego exclusivly while others have more complex undercurrents. To be able to survive an affair you need to know exactly what you are facing!

3. Find out what is internally driving him to the affair.
This follows on from the previous tip, while you can find out the reason he may state is making him turn to an affair you need to delve deeper and find out what is really driving him! You need to know what drives your man, how his past has effected him decision makign now, how he copes with relationships and more. How you do this will vary greatly but only once you find out what his problem is can you develop effective strategies with better decisions. You will also feel a lot better knowing you now have a clear path to follow and it is his problem not your own!

4. Ask yourself the tough question.
Now that you have worked out what is happening with your partner and understand him much more than you did before you have to ask a difficult question of yourself, "do want to stay with him?".
Basically you need to work out if you really love him and want to stay with him or if you just want to save your marriage based on your own feelings of insecurities and neediness.
While this may sound harsh if you want him to be honest with you you must be honest with him and yourself, if you are trying to save a marriage based purly on selfish reasons will it be much of a marriage? While you are asking yourself this now it is best to find out about him first before you can look at this question logically!
what are the odds of saving your marriage?

My marriage made me do this! - hard to save. If he is set in his mind that the marriage is the problem then obviously it will be harder to get a healthy marriage back.
I just can't say no! - this is purly his problem and has a good chance of saving the marriage once he works it out.
i just don't want to say no! - not as good. He is choosing very logically to have this affair because he really wants it. This is still an ego issue though and he may still want a marriage back once the reasons for his wanting an affair can be solved. Better then the first not as good as the second type.
I am not in love any more! - not as bad as it sounds, he is wanting with this type and while he feels the love is gone the marriage may still have appeal. Rekindling love can turn this around greatly!
I did it to get revenge on my spouse! - also not as bad as it sounds. Angry and petulant but he still sees you as his wife otherwiase he would have simply tried for a divorce.
I needed to prove to myself i am still attractive! - again more about his ego than your marriage.
I just wanted to be close to someone! - if there is distance in amarriage this could be problematic, this could be tough.

5. Predict the future.
Once you are armed with all this information and can act on it you will also be armed with an important skill; foresight. Using your new knowledge of your man and his desires, shortcomings and needs you can predict what will happen in his affair and your marriage. Using your knowledge predict if he will have another affair even if this one stops. Use your knowledge to predict if the affairs are long term or just one night stands. Predict what sort of affairs he is likely to have, physical, emotional or mental? Use this knowledge to see the future then act on it!
Affair surviving can be a hard road no matter what your choices but i hope these tips on surviving an affair will arm you with the information you need to make the right decisions not just now but for long into the future! good luck!

WHY MEN CHEAT

This is not easy to answer...
Before i start i just want to clarify what really mean by cheating.
i think its just glancing at a good looking woman as she walks down the street or thinking about that sexy looking number that’s displayed on the calendar or thinking ‘if only I was single ….’.

At what point a women believes her partner is cheating on her is largely dependant on her level of insecurity. A woman who lacks confidence, doesn’t feel good about herself and is full of insecurities might become paranoid at the mere mention of another woman while someone who is full of self-confidence and is comfortable in herself and with her relationship is far less likely to get concerned with straying eyes and a meaningless comment.
we need to confirm our understanding as to what is normal behavior for a man. Can we get upset when a man enjoys a little flirtatious behavior or remarks on the good looks of super model if the act or comment bears no substance? An innocent action that in no way impacts the way a man feels about his partner is harmless, it’s how much he is and can be trusted to draw the line that matters.
Cheating has been made easier over the years with couples often leading relatively separate lives with the lone trips to the gym, the night out with the lads / girls and the common reluctance to find activities that can be enjoyed together. Then there’s the children to consider so couples often take separate holidays and work different hours which all add up to lots of time when you can meet someone else. It’s not even intentional but the likelihood that a friendship will start and progress is far greater than if you were in the company of your partner.
Often men see sex as just fulfilling a need, a way to satisfy themselves certain in the belief that if they have no real feelings for the person they are sleeping with then it’s not really cheating. They fail to see the wider implication of what impact it will have on their partner.
One of the main reasons why men cheat is when the intimacy has been lost from their relationship, when they have had enough of ‘not tonight I have a headache’, or ‘I’m too tired’ or ‘no the children might hear’. Men have sexual desires and sexual needs that need to be fulfilled so if the love, romance and intimacy has been lost in your relationship your man will be far more inclined to seek fulfillment elsewhere.
Some men just seem born to cheat and it’s in their very nature to sample what’s on offer. Such men are hard to form a relationship with but it is often apparent from the outset as too what type of relationship a woman is letting herself in for.
An old friend of mine just couldn’t resist the handsome hunks on the beach, the ones that really loved themselves and thought they were god’s gift. She knew that they would soon move on and that she was just a passing phase but she just couldn’t help herself, got caught time and time again and every relationship ended in tears because she just wasn’t strong enough to cope.
It is thought that cheating men fail to have any feelings of guilt until after the event and, it has to be said, the longer man get away with it the more likely they are to continue with men having a greater tolerance and liking for risk.
For some men cheating is a way to boost their ego with each additional conquest enhancing their ego and being seen, in certain circles as a real status symbol. The ultimate impact on their relationship is something that never occurs to them at the time, when they are being outwardly encouraged to continue with their infidelities, and by the time they see the error of their ways it is generally too late.
It can never be said that men don’t know that cheating is wrong it’s at what point they consider the wider implications and what emphasis they place on perceived need which is perhaps different.

SMART WIFI

Try this one it works..

1. Go to your web browser, type “169.254.1.1? to access the canopy interface. In case the canopy configuration page didnt show up, go to local are connection properties and click Internet Protocol->properties. Enter Ip address 169.254.1.2 subnet 255.255.255.0 and hit OK. You can now view your canopy configuration status.

2. You will be brought to the “STATUS” page. The navigation tabs are located at the left panel.

3. For a good connection, the word “REGISTERED” must be written in the “session status” and the “Jitter value should be low (lower=less interference).

4. Now return to the navigation panel, go to “Configuration”. The only value here that will concern you is the “Color Code” value.

5. Return to the navigation panel and then choose “AP Eval Data”. This is the most important aspect since this is where the available AP or Access Point for every connection is displayed. Every AP is separated by ************. This is where the technicians look for signal during the canopy installation. You can also change the signal by repositioning the antenna or simply turning it while clicking “Rescan APs”. The values will change depending on the signal strength being received. You can view how many users are connected to a specific base station by clicking AP EVAL DATA. Its important to know that Jitter and RSSI data is important. Having a lower Jitter is good and having a higher RSSI value than 800 is also better.

The Important factors here are:
A. “Multipoint Avail” - In order to know if the canopy has a signal to the base station, its value must be “1?, “0? means no signal.

B. “SectorUserCount” - Shows how many connections are using that particular AP.

6. Return to the “Configuration” tab if you were able to get a good AP signal AP, change the “color code” value with the value you get from the scan AP process. Click save changes then reboot.

7. Now return to the status page and hit refresh until you see that the word “REGISTERED” is displayed,(You can also see your canopy’s distance from the AP here). If you receive the words “scanning or registering” just continue hitting the refresh tab until “registered” comes up. Make sure you have a low jitter level (If its greater than 11, this means that there is too much interference and you need to find a new AP).

8. If everything works out fine (You’re “REGISTERED”, have Good Jitter levels) proceed with testing your connection by pinging google, or some other test you have in mind. Exit then open your browser and you will be redirected to the smart portal where you will be required to input your password so that it will update (Use the password from the first installation). Save changes then reboot.

NOTE 1: Make sure that you clear all LOGS from the canopy page.
NOTE 2: You can also check your connection to the Base station by clicking LINK TEST. This test will show you how efficient your connection to the base station.
NOTE 3: Warning changing anything might damage your antenna if you dont know what your doing so don’t save anything.
NOTE 4: Just change your Lan IP connection to automatic if you want to browse again. If you cant connect..then just ipconfig/release and /renew again to refresh your ip address.

TRICK YOUR COMPUTER[office administrator(s)]

I assumed that the reader of this topic already know how to edit/use registry editing tool and Group policy.

here are the steps:

1. Just Hide/Disable your Drive C using the group policy.
2. Disable Run.
3. Disable Registry.
4. Disable Control Panel
5. Disable Find/Search on the start up.
6. Just leave the right mouse enable >>> this is the main tool for this trick.
7. Disable the system restore

Some stupid IT or Admin might think that there is no way he can access the registry or the group policy because run is already disabled, control panel is already disabled, regedit.exe is already disabled, Find/Search is already disabled, he can no longer access the drive C, and he cant restore your system... like in our office the guy from other company said "i give up!!!!" called his boss and ask how to go to regedit and group policy. His boss cant even help him... (and they always act as if they were the best IT ever), while me watching and saying to myself "suffer you stupid b@stard".

here is the trick ( common sense trick)

find any program in your desktop/start menu that are installed on your drive C:right mouse on the selected program. go to its properties. then go to the shortcut tab. click find target (Guess what???? you're now on the drive C: which was disabled) just click the up button til you get in C:\ then go to the folder C:\WINDOWS\system32 and find the gpedit now you're ready to edit the changes that you made before.

Now if he already know this trick just disable the gpedit.msc so both registry and group policy are disabled. even if he could enter C:\WINDOWS\system32 gpedit and regedit are useless. he cant use them. now if you want to use them just use the notepad to make a vbs code to enable the regedit...

TRUE HAPPINESS

NO ONE,
I am convinced,
can be happy who lives only for himself.
The joy of living
comes from immersion in something
that we know to be bigger,better,
more enduring and worthier than we are,...
The pitiful people
are those who in their living
elect to be spectators
rather than participants;
the tragic ones
are those sightseers
who turn their backs deliberately
on the procession..
The only true happiness
comes from
squandering ourselves
FOR A PURPOSE.

NEVER LIE TO GIRLS

There was a guy sunbathing in the nude on the beach,He saw a little girl coming toward him, so he coveredhimself with the newspaper he was reading.
The girl came up to him and asked, "What do you haveunder the newspaper, Mr.?
Thinking quickly, the guy replied, "A bird."
The girl walked away, and the guy fell asleep. When hewoke up, he was in a hospital in tremendous pain. Thepolice asked him what happened.
The guy says, "I don't know, I was lying on the beachand this little girl asked me a question. I guess Idozed off, and the next thing I knew is that I'm here."
The police went to the beach, found the girl, andasked her, "What did you do to that naked fellow?"
After a pause, the girl replied, "To him? Nothing, Iwas playing with his bird and it spit on me, so Ibroke its neck, cracked its eggs and set its nest onfire!"
Moral of the story: Never lie to girls.

MEN SUCK!!!!

Current mood: annoyed
Category: Romance and Relationships
Isn't it crazy that when you are ready to put all your attention towards one person you find that they have just been playing you the whole time? I feel so stupid right now. Just when I was starting to trust someone again they totally break it. I cant stand the double standards between men and women. Why is it that guys think they can control what you do even when you aren't even a couple? They dont want you to "fuck around" but all the while they are the ones doing it. I dont think so. I refuse to fall for that shit anymore. Men: when you tell a girl that you are honest, straight-forward, and not into playing games then you should actually practice what you preach. Dont lie!! The truth may hurt a bit but in the end thats all a girl wants to hear. Thats all anybody wants to hear. Maybe one day I will find a guy that is truly honest with his feelings and with his intentions with me. They say good things come to those who wait right? I guess I'll just be patient.......
